One Cycling City
We are against standstills, both literally and figuratively. Brussels is becoming a city for people, and should be a city with a face and with audacious architecture. The car must abdicate its position as king of the road for the benefit of everyone in Brussels. We want to move forward. Change must go further and move at a faster pace.
one.brussels wants a city for cyclists
Neighbourhoods should become more and more car-free, with enough space for pedestrians and separate lanes for cyclists. Car traffic must be restricted to the major roads. Squares are becoming car-free places for people to meet instead of parking lots. The metro, tram and bus must be able to take you to wherever you want to go. And where possible, we want to create parks and green connections in the city.
