One City

New York city is run by 53 politicians whereas Brussels has more than 900! In Brussels, everyone has legal authority but no-one takes responsibility. There are 19 communes, 19 CPASs (social services administration centres), 16 social housing bodies, six police zones and a multitude of ways to delay to work against change and progress.

Because a single governance will make Brussels a fairer and more efficient city. A city where everyone pays the same amount of taxes and gets the same benefits and where the snow clearers don’t stop in the middle of the street. With fewer politicians but more services in neighbourhoods and more direct democracy. The citizens, who are affected, will thus really take part in shaping policy in their city.
